The Brooklyn-based nail artist and technician—an iconic mononym in her own right—has been a much-loved fixture in her industry, not just for her skill at creating sleek talons that look fierce and delicate at one, but also for her honey-sweet disposition. It’s almost no wonder that her recent collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly’s nail polish brand UN/DN LAQR features two pastel shades evoking visions of soft-spun cotton candy and bubble gum.

Clients lucky enough to schedule private appointments at Honey’s Brooklyn studio, where she specializes in nail restorations and enhancements, are also treated to her homemade oil-treatment, a personal recipe she’s determined to keep secret. She does, however, offer up the ingredients for a luscious DIY hand scrub (see below), along with her other top recommendations for keeping nails and hands healthy and moisturized.

HONEY’S DIY, ALL-NATURAL HAND SCRUB

Mix brown sugar and a spoonful of honey into an oil base such as olive, coconut, grapeseed oil, etc. Add a drop of essential oil of your choice. Gently massage into hands and cuticle beds, and rinse under warm water.
